Comments:

A rather different looking guitar built by world renowned UK luthier Hugh Manson. Hugh has constructed guitars for members of Led Zeppelin, Yes, Jethro Tull, Oasis, Muse and others and his site archive shows that he is not afraid to deviate from the norm and take some chances with design. This particular guitar has a rock and roll styling and features some cool little twists such as the offset and curled area of the rear of the body near the strap button and the sort of "hooked" and curled top and bottom horns. The contrast between the chrome hardware and the black gloss finish strikes the eye and gives a nice relief from the monocolor appearance of the body and neck. A nice touch on the headstock front veneer also. Perhaps this was a custom model made for someone seeking a little something that would stand out a bit in the crowd.

This instrument is documented in the BunnyBass Musical Instrument Archive.
