Campellone electric guitars and basses.

Click on the small thumbnails to see larger versions of these photographs Mark sent to us of some electric solidbody guitars and basses he built between 1977 and 1992:

"Dear BunnyBass...As you can see, I did some experimenting with different body styles and different types of wood. I built many more basses than guitars, and towards the end, most of the basses were 5 or 6 string models. I used Bartolini pickups in all of my later basses, and many also featured active electronics by Bartolini. I made my own bridges and tailpieces from solid brass. A few instruments also featured custom inlay work - I did all my own pearl work back then.
Of course, many of my early instruments were a bit crude, but as my skills got better and I acquired more tools, quality improved.
Well, I hope that you enjoy the pictures and that maybe you'll see one or two of these instruments turn up some day.
Regards for now,
Mark Campellone"
