Comments:

We here at BunnyBass are really glad to be able to present this beautiful bass from DC Olson of San Antonio, Texas. This bass is somewhat different from DC's other instruments in that the cutaway is wider and the horns are longer. This bass also features the fully inlaid straplocks which is another variation from the previous basses we have featured on BunnyBass. One thing is for certain about this bass and that is the superb sound from the combination of the ash body, maple neck, flamed maple board, Villex pickups and the three band EQ. At seven pounds, you hardly know the bass is on your shoulder. The feel of the neck is so good. The rolled edges give the bass an"old friend" aura. It's unusual to experience this quality from a brand new instrument right off the mark. DC is a longtime player himself and knows what he likes to hear and feel from his basses. If you are a Jazz Bass lover, you owe it to yourself to have the pleasure of playing one of DC Olson's remarkable instruments.

This instrument is documented in the BunnyBass Musical Instrument Archive.
